As you can see this blog is not finished yet. It is also going to go through some changes in the next few weeks, and months. I decided to put it up because, I got sick of waiting for the design to be perfect.
Why start now?
I have now moved to San Francisco, and being honest it has been really great so far. So why am I in San Francisco. To help Touristr in our crusade to build a great, and useful site.
How is it goin?
I am having a fantastic time. I have found a great apartment, and I have been going walkies around the place and here is one of the results

I must thank some people
First of all I must thank Vinnie Lauria. Vinnie has been great in helping me out with my move, and he deserves a lot of credit as someone who embodies the open culture over here in Tech scene around the Bay Area.
The other person I must thank is Jan. Jan has been great in giving me the opportunity to be the eyes, and ears of Touristr over here. Hopefully over the next few weeks, and months, and maybe years, I will be able to repay him by putting Touristr on the map over this side of the water.
I will be attempting to blog in a somewhat regular fashion in the coming days and weeks.

I'm honored to be first to comment here. I'm so glad you found an apartment that suits you so quickly. There's a French saying for this "la chance sourit aux audacieux" - Have lots of fun in San Francisco and can't wait to join you in the coming months!

Wow, never realized you were moving over Conor,.. so jealous. What a wonderful opportunity Jan and TouristR have given you and one I know you'll make the very best of. Best of luck! Looking forward to keeping up with your adventure here and hoping you'll be able to bring us up to speed at the odd OpenCoffee Limerick when you're back in the auld sod.

Welcome to the states! As I twittered, we'll have to get together when I'm next in the Bay Area. Vinnie's a nice guy, from what I remember. I met him at some $TECH_EVENT a while back.

Thanks dudes, things have been pretty mad since I got over. @james I will fix that over the weekend, things have been mental here so I haven't had a chance to fix that. @edward I look forward to your visit dude, and your right on about Vinnie.

Surely you're too young to remember Bosco... Will watch the blog with interest. Great move heading to San Fran - this should bode well for Touristr. Just don't forget all the folks you left behind in the EAC in Limerick! Can we use you as a conduit to buy cheap tech stuff? You can be our tech mule on you trips back to Ireland!
